Job Description




As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Murrieta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government courthouse location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with clear, professional communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, jurors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government court services location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes, documenting observations and reporting maintenance issues and/or unusual activity.
  • Control access at designated points by verifying identification and/or credentials, directing visitors to appropriate areas, and supporting orderly entry and exit during business hours and high-traffic periods.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local law enforcement when needed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and visitor or vehicle documentation as required, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
