Electrical Construction Project Manager, Semi

Tesla is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to support the construction of the Semi truck manufacturing facility thatrequires exceptional talent.Our environment is fast-paced and incredibly exciting. The position is located in Sparks, NV.

• Management of the planning, procurement, execution and close-out of 480V and under electrical power distributions systems
• Develop execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achieved
• Perform constructability reviews during design development to ensure engineering documents meet project needs
• Work with the Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor proposals against cost/schedule estimates
• Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams to plan, execute and close-out work scopes

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience as a Project or Construction Manager on $50M+ industrial, manufacturing or commercial construction projects
• Individual must understand electrical discipline wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, single-line drawings, schematics, electrical equipment layout and be able to perform cable sizing calculations

• Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards NFPA or ANSI/IEEE

• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight schedules and aggressive goals

• Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis
