About the Department/Division:
The team: * 1 Elections Supervisor * 1 Management Analyst I * 2 Sr. Administrative Specialists * 4 Administrative Specialists II What you'll do: As Elections Division Manager, you will oversee all aspects of election administration in Washington County. The work includes managing a skilled team responsible for candidate filings, voter registration, ballot and voters' pamphlet preparation, and accurate reporting of election results. You will ensure compliance with election laws, public records, and retention requirements while coordinating logistics for Primary, General and Special Elections. In this role, you'll develop strategies to maintain transparency and public trust, provide expert guidance to the Director of Assessment and Taxation, and serve as acting director when needed. Your leadership will ensure that every election is conducted with integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in political science, business or public administration; or a related field providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities; AND Five (5) years of work experience in elections, public information/relations, or similar field. At least three (3) years of this experience must be performing in a supervisory role.
