Are you looking to gain real-world experience in marketing, communications, and member engagement? Join our Insurance team this summer as a Summer Intern and help us enhance the way we connect with our members.

In this role, you'll contribute to rebranding and refreshing our automated insurance emails to make them more engaging, effective, and aligned with our brand. You'll work closely with both the Insurance and Marketing teams to ensure our communications not only inform-but inspire action and build trust.

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 5 hours a day | Duration Summer 2026

About the Role

As a Summer Intern with Rize Insurance Services (RIS), you'll support the team by assisting with lead tracking, documentation, and process improvement projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to how insurance services operate within a credit union environment, including Medicare, Life, and Property & Casualty services. You'll help streamline workflows, maintain accurate records, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the member experience and improve operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities


  • Administrative & Processing Support
  • Assist with tracking leads and updating records to ensure information is accurate and up to date
  • Review documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Help maintain organized records and support workflow management
  • Assist with data cleanup and basic reporting related to insurance leads and activity
  • Support updates to documentation, procedures, and internal records


Learning & Development


  • Assist with developing or refining member education materials
  • Observe and learn how RIS supports Medicare, Life, and Property & Casualty services
  • Support research and analysis related to process improvements or policy updates
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities to improve workflows and member experience


Who You Are


  • Strong attention to detail for reviewing documentation, tracking leads, and ensuring accuracy
  • Organizational skills to help manage workflow, update records, and support process improvements
  • Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Good communication skills written and verbal to assist with member education materials and team correspondence
  • Analytical or research skills to support data cleanup, reporting, and policy/procedure development
  • Proactive and curious mindset, with an interest in learning how an insurance CUSO operates
  • Customerservice orientation and a desire to help improve the member experience.
