Security Officer - Second Shift

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Granite City, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points while communicating clearly with employees and visitors. You will document observations, report concerns promptly, and respond professionally to requests on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Monitor access points and control entry for authorized personnel and vehicles, including checking credentials, logging visitors, and directing deliveries to designated areas per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, disputes, and medical incidents, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, inspections, incidents, and unusual observations, and report maintenance concerns such as damaged fencing, lighting outages, and door or gate issues through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
