PSI supports the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Command & Control (C2) Mission Systems (C2MS) task order focused on delivery excellence, cost/schedule fidelity, and mission outcomes.

We are seeking a Lead Client Engineer to drive engineering, sustainment, and modernization of the C2MS client architecture across Air Force Special Operations environments. This position is ideal for transitioning service members with experience in IT, cyber operations, systems administration, maintenance, satellite communications, or similar technical fields.
The SkillBridge intern will gain hands-on experience in mentoring junior engineers, interfacing with government leadership, and steering client-related changes. You will help shape the future of C2MS mission client operations and ensure the reliability of the endpoints operators rely on daily.

Position Type: DoD SkillBridge (Fellowship/Internship) - Fulltime, Temporary (Unpaid per DoD policy)

    • Coordinate with Comm Squadrons, server teams, IA, and mission partners during deployment or incident response.
    • Validate client-to-service connectivity: DNS, PKI, GPO, cert trust, authentication, proxies, services, and registration.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
    • Serve as the primary client engineering POC for government customers, auditors, and program leadership.
    • Provide direction and mentoring to client engineering staff.
    • Publish SOPs, runbooks, deployment guides, and engineering standards.
