Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all field operations on assigned construction projects. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. The Construction Superintendent plays a critical role in maintaining high-quality workmanship and strong client relationships.



Responsibilities

    Supervise day-to-day on-site construction activities from start to completion
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
  • Enforce all safety policies, conduct daily safety meetings, and ensure proper use of PPE
  • Monitor progress against schedules and adjust resources as needed to stay on track
  • Maintain daily logs of work performed, site conditions, incidents, and inspections
  • Proactively identify issues, conflicts, or delays and implement solutions
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, inspectors, and crew members
  • Oversee site organization, cleanliness, and security
  • Verify that work meets or exceeds code requirements and company standards
  • Support and mentor foremen and crew members to ensure consistent performance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, codes, and safety standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and construction management software
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area

Work Environment

  • Field-based role on active construction sites with exposure to weather, dust, and noise
  • Requires walking, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
