Release Engineer Remote Salary : $140,000/yr MUST : Eligible for Public Trust 8+ years of release engineering and DevOps experience 5+ years of MS Dynamics 365 Strong experience working in Azure cloud environment Strong hands-on experience with Github CI/CD pipelines for D365 and Power Platform ALM Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Service solution architecture, solution layering (managed vs unmanaged), component dependencies, and environment strategies Strong documentation skills Strong communication skills both written and verbal Strong attention to detail and good problem solving skills Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of related experience DUTIES : Ideal candidate will lead and optimize CI/CD practices specifically for D365 Customer Service, Power Platform solutions, and supporting Azure components, ensuring reliable and standardized release execution Manage solution build, packaging, and deployment across development, test, UAT, and production environments using Azure DevOps and ALM best practices for Dynamics Validate environment configurations, solution layering (managed/unmanaged), patching strategies, and dependency impacts across D365 apps, Dataverse, plugins, PCF controls, and integrations Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues using D365/Power Platform tools such as Solution Checker, Plugin Trace Logs, Dataverse telemetry, and Azure Application Insights Diagnose complex deployment failures within Dynamics (solution import errors, plugin exceptions, Dataverse schema conflicts, etc.) and lead long-term remediation and prevention strategies Ensure all Change Requests (CRs) include accurate solution documentation, release notes, dependency maps, and necessary approvals in compliance with COE and VA governance processes Support continuous improvement of D365 release governance, environment strategy, and ALM processes across the sustainment lifecycle Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
