We are hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer Intern!!

This position can work remotely in the US.

Start date -- Mid to late May 2026

End date = Late Aug or Early Sept 2026

Hours = 8 - 5 pm, Mon - Fri

Summary

We're seeking a summer intern pursuing a bachelor's degree to support Product Development continuous improvement efforts. This position offers practical experience and mentorship from our Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist in collecting feedback, data, and documentation to support improvements in Product Development processes, tools, and systems.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement activities using methodologies such as the Plan Do Check Adjust (PDCA) cycle and Lean Product Development principles.
* Help track project progress and prepare communications, presentations, and status updates to maintain visibility of improvement initiatives.
* Gain exposure to FDA and ISO Design Control requirements, Risk Management, and Design Transfer processes, and support compliance through accurate documentation.
* Perform other tasks and project work as assigned, based on business needs and intern development goals.

Education & Experience
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Quality, or a related technical field.
* Completion of coursework in areas such as Lean, Six Sigma, Product Development, or Quality Systems is a plus.
* Prior internship, co op, or project experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or process improvement is helpful but not required.
* Experience working on team based academic or extracurricular engineering projects (e.g., capstone teams, design competitions, student organizations) is a plus.
* Familiarity with process mapping, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement tools through coursework or project work is beneficial.

Estimated starting annual base hourly pay ranges is $20 - 25.00, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
