This pivotal role is for an experienced cybersecurity professional who thrives on tackling complex challenges and proactively defending against sophisticated cyber threats. You will be instrumental in monitoring the security landscape, developing advanced detection strategies, and implementing cutting-edge security solutions to protect sensitive data and infrastructure. **What You'll Do:**

* Proactively monitor and analyze new and emerging security threats from various sources, staying ahead of potential vulnerabilities.

* Design, develop, and implement advanced detection mechanisms to identify and neutralize emerging threats across diverse platforms.

* Provide expert troubleshooting for complex security incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption.

* Contribute to the strategic design and implementation of robust security solutions, enhancing the overall security posture.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into development and operational workflows.

* Maintain the highest levels of security assurance and confidence for internal and external stakeholders.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

* 5-8 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, including 2-5 years specifically in security implementation.

* Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including federation, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication technologies.

* Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

* Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, network firewalls (L2/L3 and application layer), Virtual Private Networking (VPN), Intrusion Detection/Prevention systems, and penetration testing methodologies.

* Strong technical track record and practical experience with a range of security technologies including anti-virus solutions, malware analysis tools, DDOS mitigation, traffic profiling/anomaly detection, wireless security, and Voice over IP (VoIP) security.

* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues through network traces and logs.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely.

* A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience with modern authentication methods, including passwordless solutions.
