Responsibilities The Windows System Administrator maintains and supports the organization's Windows Server and Windows desktop environments, with additional responsibility for onsite deskside support. This role manages Active Directory, Group Policy, patching, system monitoring, and Tier II/III troubleshooting while also providing hands on support for end user devices, peripherals, and workstation level issues. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across servers, desktops, and user-facing technologies to ensure stable, secure, and reliable IT operations. The Windows Desktop/Server Administrator will provide support across the Office of Information Management (OIM) and Office of Science (OSC) mission systems. Target Salary Range $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
