Account Manager/ Outside Sales Rep

Pelham, NH

Territory: Maine, Upstate Massachusetts and New Hampshire

Yarde Metals, a metals service center, is looking for an experienced account manager to develop and maintain business relationships within a defined territory of Maine, Upstate Massachusets and New Hampshire. This position involves strategic teamwork with our sales and marketing departments to identify opportunities for profitable growth.

Providing customers with quality products and services the first time, on-time, every time.
Maintaining our reputation as a premier metals service center.
Employing the most knowledgeable and skilled team in the metals industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop an account retention and sales growth plan.
Build strong, value-added business partnerships with customers.
Identify customer requirements and present products, services, and programs to satisfy those requirements.
Collaborate with product manager and inside sales team to increase sales and secure contractual opportunities.
Prepare itineraries, call logs, expense reports and update customer account information.
Assist the credit department in managing accounts receivable and collections.
Consult with marketing on promotional initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

High school graduate, college degree preferred.
Minimum (3) years sales experience in the metals industry.
Proven success in account management.
Experience directly related to the duties of the position.
Strong command of the English language with effective platform and communication skills.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Professional presentation.
Valid driver's license with clean MVR; must operate a company vehicle approximately 70% of the time and do so safely in various weather conditions.
Available to work extended hours and weekends to entertain customers.
