This position follows a hybrid schedule with (4) days per week In-office days per week. Our office is located at 12921 S. Vista Station Blvd. Draper, UT 84020.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Investment Management team in a hybrid role that bridges Treasury investment management and enterprise risk functions. This individual will support and coordinate projects related to investment management, risk management, regulatory/compliance, internal/external audits, FDIC examinations, model validations, and other governance initiatives. The role is designed to ensure that investment management, risk/compliance, and audit requirements are met with excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fixed income investments, regulatory frameworks (FDIC, NAIC), and risk management principles. This position will also collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Risk, Internal Audit, Investment Management, ALM, and Treasury Operations, as well as external regulators and auditors. Experience with insurance company statutory reporting and NAIC-related projects is a plus.

This position is full time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 6 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm CST, Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Investment Management Analysis and Risk Monitoring: Assist with portfolio analysis, market and credit risk assessments, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in managing and tracking risk, compliance, and audit-related projects, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation to support successful project completion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Risk, Internal Audit, Investment Management, ALM, and Treasury Operations teams to assist with regulatory requests, model validations, and projects impacting Treasury.
  • Regulatory Support: Help facilitate communication between leaders of the Investment Management, ALM, Treasury Operations teams and internal/external auditors, FDIC examiners, and model validation teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Contribute to preparing and maintaining documentation for regulatory exams, audits, and compliance reviews, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Risk & Control Framework: Support the implementation and monitoring of risk controls and governance processes within Investment Management, ALM, and Treasury Operations function.
  • Insurance Regulatory Assistance: Help with NAIC and statutory reporting requirements, including investment-related schedules and compliance with insurance regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate Reporting and Documentation: Help prepare and maintain investment-related reports, regulatory filings, and audit documentation, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Process and Governance Initiatives: Participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, implementing risk controls, and supporting governance frameworks across investment and treasury functions.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in identifying opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk in investment and compliance-related activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 3+ years of experience in investment management, treasury, or risk-related functions, with exposure to regulatory compliance and audit processes
  • Proficient understanding of fixed income markets, risk frameworks, and regulatory guidelines (FDIC, NAIC)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI with working knowledge of data analysis tools; ability to create clear, actionable reporting. Snowflake experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Bloomberg (Terminal, PORT, PREP) functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across functions in a complex, deadline-driven environment
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and time sensitive environment that blends the structure of monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines with the dynamics of a changing financial market and business conditions
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

  • Reside within commutable distance to the office at 12921 S. Vista Station Blvd. Draper, UT 84020.
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
