The Feta Laborer position is responsible for completing a variety of packaging and Clean-in-Place (CIP) duties to assist with the safe and efficient operation of the feta department. This position is a seasonal position. What's involved in this role Perform daily packaging duties. Perform vacuum packing as required. Monitor block forms and extensions to maintain coagulator system supply. Complete required paperwork and quality checks (i.e. X-Ray checks, sampling, etc.) in a legible manner. Wash tubs as required. Perform Master Sanitation/CIP duties as required. Set up the packaging lines for the next day. Complete tasks safely while maintaining a safe working environment. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by supervision or management. Profile sought High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP). Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information. Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Where you'll be working Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 225 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese, as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey.Agropur's US operations produce 1 billion pounds of quality, award-winning cheese each year.
