- This position is responsible for implementing business intelligence software and systems, including integration, ETL (extract, transform, load), and reporting. This will include gathering requirements, designing, and deploying business intelligence solutions to end users.
- Creates and monitors reporting and dashboard solutions that meet the needs of the organization
- Ensures optimal end user performance by establishing and consistently executing overall system performance assessment processes and associated action plans
- Works independently on projects to provide reporting solutions.
- Works closely with all business areas and vendors to resolve issues related to reporting.
- Adheres to established code standards.
- Gathers business requirements, codes, validates, and documents new or modified reports.
- Other duties and project as assigned.
- Minimum Education/Work Experience
- Degree/Certification in Computer Science (or related field) or 2 years demonstrated experience in a Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Reporting function.
- SQL/SSRS/SSMS or any related reporting development software
- Familiarity in dashboarding tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or similar.
- Familiarity in general ETL practices.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Detail oriented and a high level of critical thinking skills
- Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
- Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence to complete job functions as mentioned above
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
- Ability to conduct research into technology issues and products
License/Certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare information systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server BI tools (SSRS/SSIS/SSAS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Knowledge of HIPPA, HITECH, and other applicable data privacy practices and laws
