Summary:

MaineHealth Medical Group is seeking a Physician and APP Recruitment Specialist to work on provider hiring for MaineHealth's Coastal Region. The Specialist will work on candidate searches and projects to support the overall hiring needs of the Medical Group and the work of the Provider Recruitment Center.

The Physician and APP Recruitment Specialist role is responsible for providing physician and APP recruitment support to senior leadership, physician leaders and APP leaders. This role assists with projects related to recruiting, candidate sourcing, preboarding, the new hire process and provides and tracks metrics as requested.

This is a benefit eligible position currently based in our South Portland, Maine office. Successful candidates may be located within a reasonable commuting distance from either our South Portland location or our Coastal region locations. This is a hybrid position and is not open to fully remote candidates.

Responsibilities:

* Partners with recruiters, physicians, APPs, senior leaders and other staff to build strong working relationships and build credibility.

* Coordinates search committee meetings and other logistics to assure smooth recruitment processes for candidates and hiring leaders.

* Collects feedback from interviewers, prepares reports for hiring leaders and provides other information needed relevant to candidate decisions.

* Works with recruiters. candidates, provider interviewers, administrative staff, external parties and others to schedule virtual and onsite visits, build itineraries and to make travel arrangements.

* Provides timely and professional responses to candidate inquiries.

* Manages logistics, coordinating all communication with candidates, and others involved with open searches.

* Tracks candidates, provides timely responses to inquiries and works on other administrative projects to support recruitment of candidates.

* May manage full cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including opening requisitions, screening candidates, presenting CVs to hiring stakeholders, coordinating and attending interviews, and partnering with leadership and compensation teams to develop and extend offers.

* Sources candidates using a variety of platforms and tools, manages job board advertising, and partners with Talent Attraction on marketing and employer branding initiatives.

* Represents the organization at recruitment events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build candidate pipelines.

* Processes reimbursements and coordinates payment of invoices from external vendors.

* Provides support through the evaluation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full-cycle recruiting, including offer details and materials as needed. Tracks candidates and updates the applicant tracking system.

* Collects data related to open searches in process, searches that have closed and other candidate tracking as needed.

* Prepares monthly reports to outline status of each search and the quarterly metric dashboard. Creates other metrics reporting as requested.

* Some travel may be required.

* Other projects as assigned.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    2. License/Certifications: N/A
    3. Experience: Two years of experience in Human Resources or other business-related role required. Recruiting experience preferred.
    4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Experience with ATS and HRIS applications.
