What you'll be doing...

Verizon's Consumer Wholesale organization plays a crucial role in how Verizon presents itself in the marketplace, enabling additional revenue streams and subscriber growth through consumer-focused MVNO distribution channels. Joining the VCG Wholesale Support and Data Management team, you will focus on the day-to-day data support of strategic reseller relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Resellers' access to critical data used in their business operations, managing user access & licenses, and security.

You will act as a critical resource for our Resellers' data needs. Your primary goal is to ensure access to critical reports and resolve any technical issues by removing roadblocks and coordinating effectively between internal teams, external service providers, and our valued reseller partners.

As Sr Analyst Data Reporting & Analysis, you will:

  • Manage Report Center: Report Center is a web-based Cognos application that we utilize to interface with our Data Warehouse and to provide reporting for our Reseller customers. This includes, but is not limited to, training Resellers & internal users, providing Tier 1 troubleshooting & resolving technical issues, creating & testing new reports, testing & implementing system enhancements.

  • Manage Reseller License Tracker (LT): LT is used as a supplemental tool to manage Reseller user access and licenses. Managing Reseller LT includes but is not limited to creating a new Reseller shared folder profile, requesting and approving new user access to run reports, and requesting and approving a new user license for Cognos.

  • Manage Active Directory Object Management Dashboard (ADOM): ADOM is our primary security dashboard where user access is managed. Managing ADOM includes, but is not limited to, acting as trustee for over 55 ADOM groups for both USWIN (internal users) and ADEBP (external users), managing groups for licenses, general access, and access to Reseller shared folders, and completing quarterly certification of all groups.

  • Work with internal and external partners and Resellers: Work effectively with internal and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports, access, and security of Report Center.

What we're looking for...

We are looking for a dedicated Problem Solver who acts with a sense of urgency to address Reseller data needs; you enjoy "digging deep" to uncover the cause of data delivery issues and working with partner teams to implement solutions to prevent them from recurring. As a skilled Communicator, you maintain professional composure while navigating complex conversations with internal partners or providing clarity to frustrated resellers. A natural prioritizer, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing a high volume of technical tasks without sacrificing the accuracy or attention to detail required for seamless customer data delivery and security.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Three or more years of relevant experience working in a Cognos environment

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Self-starter that can work independently and with teams

  • Experience creating and managing ADOM groups

  • Extensive background working with Cognos and strong practical experience writing SQL (Big Query)

  • Experience creating and managing JIRA stories
