Position Title: Welder
Wage: $20.52 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Welder position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate welding machines for metal fabrication. - Read blueprints and production schedules to ensure accurate specifications. - Inspect welded workpieces for quality. - Utilize hand tools and welding equipment as required. Welder Requirements: - Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. consistently throughout shift. - Stand for 8-12 hours per shift. - Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials while frequently bending, stooping, twisting, and kneeling. - Work in a loud, hot environment. - Knowledge of MIG and sub-arc welding; certification preferred but not required (minimum 1 year of experience required). quincy@qpsemployment.com IND118 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
