The Packaging Associate is responsible for assembling, loading, and packing finished products according to production standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, proper packaging, and adherence to food safety and company guidelines. Packaging Responsibilities: - Assemble and prepare boxes and containers for packaging - Package finished product into boxes and ensure accurate labeling and palletizing - Repackage any product that does not meet specifications - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the shift - Perform routine sanitation tasks to meet food safety standards - Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and quality control procedures - Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily goals - Identify and communicate any safety, mechanical, or quality concerns to a supervisor Requirements for Packaging: - High School Diploma or GED - Three to six months of packaging or production experience preferred - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate or learn packaging equipment - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team - Basic math and communication skills - Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 55 lbs repeatedly throughout a 12-hour shift - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours) - Ability to frequently bend, twist and reach - Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
