Overview

The IT Network Analyst is responsible for the administration, availability, performance, and security of the company's network environment and related operational services. This role maintains the Head Office network in Paramus, NJ and supports the R&D office in King of Prussia, PA, including LAN/WAN, WiFi, VPN, Cisco switching, intranet/internet connectivity, and backup connectivity. The position also supports hybrid connectivity and network architecture in Microsoft Azure, and maintains inter-site VPN connectivity between Paramus, King of Prussia, Korea Head Office, and Azure.

In addition to network operations, the IT Network Analyst provides operational oversight for the IT Helpdesk (Service Desk) and NOC services, ensuring monitoring, ticket triage, escalation, and communications are handled efficiently. The role is also responsible for coordinating and managing third-party vendors and managed service providers that support network, helpdesk, NOC, ISP/circuit services, and related IT operations.

Onsite / Travel Requirements

    Primarily onsite at Paramus, NJ
  • Onsite support at King of Prussia, PA (R&D) once per week
  • May travel to national commercial team events a few times per year (as needed)


Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and support the company's network infrastructure across all locations, including LAN/WAN, WiFi, internet connectivity, and site-to-site connectivity.
  • Coordinate day-to-day network operations with the IT Helpdesk and NOC to ensure timely incident response, request fulfillment, and escalation for network-related issues (no direct supervisory responsibility).
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network services and components, including routing/switching, wireless access, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity.
  • Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises networks and Microsoft Azure, including VPN tunnels and related routing, security, and availability requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and availability; analyze trends, identify root cause, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability.
  • Plan and coordinate network changes, upgrades, and maintenance windows; document changes and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Coordinate vulnerability remediation for network devices in partnership with Security/IT teams, including firmware/patch updates, configuration hardening, and remediation tracking.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation (diagrams, IP addressing, configurations, inventories, and standard procedures) and ensure updates following changes.
  • Coordinate vendor and carrier activities for network services (e.g., ISP circuits, managed services, hardware support), including ticket management, escalation, and service restoration.
  • Assist with network lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, evaluating solutions, coordinating procurement inputs, and supporting implementation and cutover.
  • Participate in incident management and problem management processes, including post-incident reviews and action plan tracking.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to Helpdesk/NOC teams to improve first-contact resolution for common network issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • This position has direct supervision of the IT Helpdesk and NOC operational services, ensuring that all support and monitoring activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee the performance of vendor-supported IT Helpdesk and NOC staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor helpdesk ticket and NOC alert resolution processes, ensuring timely responses, escalation, and stakeholder communication as necessary.
  • Train and mentor support personnel, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional development and knowledge sharing across network operations and end-user support.
  • Collaborate with IT management to develop and implement best practices for service delivery, incident management, vendor governance, and continuous service improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Networking certification preferred (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Network Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years supporting enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, internet circuits, WiFi, VPN).
  • Strong Cisco switching experience (VLANs, trunking, STP, port security, IOS/firmware lifecycle).
  • Experience with enterprise WiFi (APs, SSIDs, authentication) and performance/coverage troubleshooting.
  • Experience with site-to-site VPNs and hybrid connectivity to Microsoft Azure (VNets, routing, VPN Gateway/ExpressRoute concepts).
  • Proven troubleshooting across multiple sites (Paramus, NJ; King of Prussia, PA), cloud, and international connectivity (Korea HQ).
  • Experience coordinating vulnerability remediation and working with vendors/MSPs (escalations, RCA, SLA management).
  • Experience coordinating Helpdesk/NOC operations (triage, escalations, communications) without direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong communication skills; able to work onsite in Paramus with weekly KOP support and occasional travel.
