Position Title: Maintenance Manager

Wage: Based on Experience

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all facility and equipment maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role manages preventive and predictive maintenance programs, leads a team of maintenance professionals, and partners with leadership to support production goals, continuous improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

- Maintain the facility and building systems in accordance with local, state and federal regulations as well as applicable safety codes

- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment as needed

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and equipment malfunctions; perform necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain production readiness

- Install, maintain, and modify plant electrical systems and equipment

- Assemble, align and adjust machinery and related equipment

- Create sketches or diagrams of replacement parts when needed

- Lead and maintain a comprehensive Total Preventive/Predictive Maintenance (TPM) program

- Reduce unplanned equipment downtime through proactive maintenance strategies

- Maintain a fiscally responsible spare parts inventory system

- Promote and uphold a 5S workplace organization program

- Support improvements related to machinery, building systems, and safety enhancements

- Commit to ongoing improvement in maintenance processes, systems, and operational effectiveness

- Direct maintenance staff to ensure production equipment is operating at optimal levels

- Hold team members accountable for meeting department goals and encourage development and performance growth

- Assign and prioritize daily work tasks, projects, and preventive maintenance activities

- Participate in special projects such as equipment installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements

- Foster a culture of safety and maintain a clean, organized working environment

Qualifications for Maintenance Manager:

- At least 2-4 years of maintenance experience

- Experience operating tools such as drills, presses, milling machines and portable hand tools

- Knowledge of PLC's, electrical systems and mechanical systems
