Job Description

Visa is seeking a Product Manager, Strategy & Analytics to own the portfoliolevel strategy and performance of its Virtual Card products. This role is accountable for defining where the virtual card business should invest, how it should grow, and which opportunities will deliver the greatest impact for clients and Visa.

The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, commercial decisionmaking, and analytics. The product manager will use market insight, transaction data, and customer behavior to shape longterm strategy, guide prioritization and investment decisions, and influence gotomarket direction across the virtual card portfolio.

Success in this role requires the ability to frame complex business questions, translate analysis into clear recommendations, and drive alignment with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing. This product manager will play a central role in setting strategic direction, measuring performance, and ensuring Visa's virtual card offerings scale, differentiate, and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Strategy & Execution:

  • Own the portfolio level strategy for Visa's Virtual Card products, including where to invest, how to grow, and which opportunities deliver the greatest client and business impact. Partner closely with key stakeholders to help inform this strategy.
  • Lead long range strategic planning, annual planning, and quarterly prioritization cycles, providing clear recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, competitive analysis, and performance data, covering existing and emerging use cases.
  • Define clear product goals, success metrics (OKRs/KPIs), and investment rationale for initiatives.
  • Structure and solve complex business problems, delivering clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify emerging technologies and business models for potential partnerships or investments.

Business Intelligence, Insights & Reporting:

  • Own portfolio performance management, with endtoend visibility into volume, activation, usage, revenue, and acceptance.
  • Partner with analytics and data science teams to define dashboards, conduct deepdive analyses, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Forecast virtual card payment volume and monitor industry and internal performance trends to continuously refine strategy.

Go-to-Market & Commercial Alignment:

  • Influence gotomarket strategy by partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure strategic priorities are reflected in offers, positioning, and execution.
  • Support client and partnerfacing strategy through executivelevel materials, business cases, and sales enablement content.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies and business cases in partnership with finance and operations to ensure returns align with strategic objectives.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop client facing sales decks specific to the group's strategy and industry outlook.

Communication & Cross-Functional Influence:

  • Prepare and deliver executivelevel materials, including strategy decks, business cases, performance updates, and decision frameworks.
  • Drive alignment across a highly matrixed, global organization by leading strategy discussions, executive reviews, KPI measurements, and decision forums.
  • Mentor product managers and contribute to the development of modern product strategy and analytics best practices.
  • Represent the product organization in cross functional and partner facing forums.
  • Partner with finance and operations to evaluate business cases, pricing strategies, and ROI.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Degree in business, economics, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, consulting, analytics, or a related role within payments, fintech, SaaS or financial services.
  • Strong analytical background with experience leveraging large, transaction level datasets to inform product strategy, prioritization, and commercial decisions in payments, fintech, SaaS, or financial services.
  • Deep understanding of commercial payments and network-based business models, including pricing, incentives, and ecosystem dynamics across issuers, acquirers, suppliers, and ERP/fintech partners.
  • Proven ability to frame ambiguous business problems, develop structured analyses, and influence senior stakeholders through clear, data driven recommendations.
  • Experience operating effectively in a global, matrixed environment, balancing strategic thinking with execution in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience evaluating business cases, pricing strategies, and ROI for growth initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 131,600 to 233,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
