Job Description

Interchange is central to Visa's business and the Global Interchange Compliance team collaborates on interchange initiatives and provides compliance expertise. The Senior Pricing Analyst role will support interchange strategy by ensuring proper levels of interchange are paid and received by our clients. This role will also ensure Visa systems are working as intended.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience navigating complex business projects and an analytical background.

Essential functions:

  • Support project streams related to global Visa Inc.'s interchange compliance across various regional and functional areas
  • Identify anomalies in the interchange process that may result in financial impact to clients/Visa
  • Full cycle incident management for compliance errors
  • Maintain detailed documentation regarding error resolution process and compliance reviews
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Visa's interchange programs to ensure monitoring processes are effective and in line with industry and client trends

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Exceptional crossfunctional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to deeply understand stakeholder needs
  • Exceptional criticalthinking and problemsolving skills, with a track record of forming clear, wellreasoned perspectives based on incomplete or evolving information
  • Basic SQL experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing datasets
  • Strong quantitative analysis experience with large datasets
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Payments industry knowledge

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 129,200.00 to 206,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
