Temple University's Athletics Department is searching for an Assistant Director of Scouting.

Salary Grade: A66

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Scouting, the Assistant Director of Scouting will provide high-level support and assistance to the Director of Scouting. The Assistant Director of Scouting is a pivotal role within the support staff, primarily responsible for college scouting and building transfer portal evaluations and recommendations to the coaching staff.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree; two or more years of related experience. Previous experience with a division 1 Football program preferred. Knowledge of the common angles and structure used in practices and games. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred:

*NCAA Division I experience.

*Experience with Catapult Thunder or DVSport.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Software including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Ability to assist with budgeting, scheduling, meal planning, coaching, recruiting, scouting, and purchasing and caring for equipment.

  • Ability to implement policies and guidelines for all Football personnel and student-athletes.

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated problem solving, strong leadership, and team-building skills

  • Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to work a highly variable schedule including nights and weekends

  • Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
