NEXCOM Senior Business Process Analyst

Location: Chantilly, VA

Peraton is looking for a Senior Business Process Analyst to support the FAA Planning and Requirements Group (PRG) in identifying, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes related to NEXCOM radio deployment activities across assigned regions. This role focuses on improving coordination between radio installation efforts and other concurrent infrastructure or installation initiatives to maximize efficiency and reduce scheduling conflicts.

The analyst serves as a key liaison between technical teams, program management, and business stakeholders to ensure project objectives, schedules, and operational priorities are clearly understood and aligned. The position requires strong analytical skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to translate technical information into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

    Analyze and evaluate regional NEXCOM deployment workflows to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams, field installation staff, and FAA stakeholders to align NEXCOM deployment schedules with other installation activities.

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements, constraints, and operational needs into clear project actions.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and monitor project timelines using tools such as Gantt charts.

  • Support project control activities by tracking progress against deliverables, identifying schedule risks, and assisting with mitigation planning.

  • Maintain program documentation including meeting minutes, action trackers, change logs, and Requests for Information (RFIs).

  • Prepare status reports and briefing materials for program leadership and stakeholders.

  • Identify potential technical, operational, or schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.

  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives across regional deployment activities.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a public trust.
  • Experience in business process analysis, project coordination, or program support within a technical or government environment.

  • Experience supporting large-scale deployment, infrastructure, or technology implementation programs.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project schedules and tracking milestones.

  • Experience maintaining administrative and technical documentation including meeting minutes, change logs, RFIs, and status reports.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting FAA programs or aviation communications systems.

  • Familiarity with NEXCOM or similar communications infrastructure deployment programs.

  • Experience working in a government contracting environment.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies or tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling platforms.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
