Embedded Software Engineer

In this position you will serve as a member of an experienced engineering team responsible for development of next generation artillery system solutions. This position will be part-time at 20 hours per week.

This role supports the design and test of software driven precision targeting systems through:

Algorithm development/ prototyping
• Definition of test procedures
• Development of data analysis software tools/functions required for test verification
• Planning for and support of live fire test events.

• Minimum of 12 years' experience with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field of study
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
• Expert level proficiency in C++
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to travel as required
