JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Acts as a single point of contact to drive scrap rate determination, acceptability and improvement across all aeroderivative platforms.
* Determines scrap rates for components flowing through shops.
* Screens and identifies potential scrap rate drivers and fixes.
* Supports and/or drives fleet program activities through its lifecycle, from initiation, development, execution to monitoring and completion to improve scrap rates.
* Drives communication to and between other functional teams.
* Reviews and provides guidance on technical matter as well as spare parts readiness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Engineering, Fleet Management and / or Product Management
* Six Sigma Green Belt certification
* Familiarity with Aero-derivative Products
Excellent project management and facilitation skills
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and industry codes
* Proven attention to detail, with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and personal organization skills to drive projects to completion.
* Ability to interface with internal and external customers
* Ability to communicate effectively, oral and written, with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences, including suppliers and internal / external customers.
* Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, with ability to bring assignments to a successful completion
* Self-motivated, self-starter, and able to adapt quickly to change and work successfully in an evolving and culturally diverse/global environment
* Demonstrated ability to function as a proactive change agent, passionate about quality and customer loyalty
* Proficiency in software applications MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Familiarity with AA/GEA/GEV/BH working and organizational relationships and processes
