Supports author and content acquisition operations by managing the full author procurement lifecycle, ensuring accurate and compliant purchasing and payment processes, maintaining records, coordinating cross-functional workflows, resolving issues, and contributing to process improvements and special projects.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Acquisitions Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical to supporting our author and content acquisition operations and ensuring seamless processes that power our products and services.

As an Acquisitions Coordinator, you will serve as a key operational partner across procurement, finance, accounting, and content teams. You will help ensure that author onboarding, acquisition workflows, and payment processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and enjoys working with systems and data.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the author procurement lifecycle, including onboarding, database maintenance, invoicing coordination, and issue resolution
  • Ensure purchasing and payment activities are processed accurately and in compliance with internal policies, controls, and timelines
  • Serve as a liaison between authors and internal stakeholders to proactively resolve procurement-related questions and challenges
  • Support process administration, including documentation, ticket management, and cross-functional coordination with procurement, accounting, and finance teams
  • Maintain accurate records and leverage systems and data to track workflows, identify inefficiencies, and improve processes
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives as directed by manager
  • Contribute to special projects and operational enhancements in support of a growing, technology-enabled content organization

You need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 0-2 years of professional experience, ideally in content acquisitions, procurement, operations, or administration
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-service mindset
  • Comfort working with systems and data; experience with Coupa purchasing and contract modules or similar procurement/accounting systems and Atlassian JIRA or similar project management software is a plus
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and a desire to continuously improve processes
