The Learning Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and execution of the organization's development programs, specifically within leadership, sales, and early-career programs. This role operates both in Performance Consulting and Program Management, ensuring that learning solutions are both aligned with business needs and executed with operational excellence across the enterprise.

The role functions as a key partner to business leaders, identifying performance gaps and then overseeing the logistical and systemic rollout of high-impact programs. There are elements in some programs that require external vendor partnerships. An overarching partnership with the Learning Management Systems (LMS) team is required to leverage seamless and user-friendly approaches to operationalize our programs. The Learning Program Manager ensures that all initiatives are scalable, consistent, and backed by measurable ROI.

Essential Responsibilities

Performance Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement



  • Performance Gap Identification: Partner with key stakeholders to identify specific development needs and determine where learning can drive business results.
  • Stakeholder Execution: Maintain consistent engagement with stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle to ensure alignment, gather feedback, and manage expectations.


Program Management & Strategic Communication



  • Development Project Timelines: Develop and maintain project timelines that align with development resources and customer expectations.
  • Operational Oversight: Lead the execution and ongoing management of enterprise-level programs, ensuring they are delivered with high quality, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Communication & Change Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to drive program awareness and adoption. This includes managing the messaging to ensure learners and leaders understand the value and "the why" behind the initiative.
  • Vendor Partnership Management: Identify, vet, and manage external training providers and subject matter experts, ensuring external solutions meet internal standards and industry-specific needs.
  • Scalability and Consistency: Establish frameworks to ensure that programs are rolled out consistently across all regions.


LMS and Systems



  • System Operationalization: Partner closely with the LMS team to leverage SAP SuccessFactors or Cornerstone, ensuring that program delivery is seamless and user-friendly for the learner.
  • User-Focused Rollouts: Coordinate with the LMS team to ensure that the technical deployment of programs (registration, notifications, and access) supports a frictionless user experience.
  • Process Excellence: Streamline the elements of program delivery, including automated communications and the integration of external learning platforms.


Measurement and ROI



  • Evaluation Approach: Develop and execute an evaluation strategy tied to key performance metrics to assess program effectiveness.
  • Reporting & Recommendations: Provide reporting and continuous improvement recommendations to facilitators, leadership, and stakeholders to drive program evolution and impact.
  • ROI Impact: Capture and translate learning data into insights that demonstrate the business impact of training (e.g., sales velocity, leadership retention, or behavioral shifts)

Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years in learning and development or program management roles, specifically focused on enterprise-scale execution.
  • Systems and Tools: Experience with Learning Management Systems (SAP SuccessFactors or Cornerstone preferred) and the ability to utilize data for performance reporting.

  • Effective Communication: Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for program rollouts.

  • Program Management: Strong accountability for managing the logistics and execution of complex, multi-phase programs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


Technical and Systemic Proficiency



  • LMS Familiarity: Understands how to leverage learning technology to create a seamless, user-friendly learner experience.
  • Analytical Acumen: Exhibits strong problem-solving abilities, using data to assess program effectiveness and drive improvements.
