You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
- Owning the endtoend mockup experience to help increase win rate, from request through delivery alongside dealers and Field Sales.
- Overseeing mockup warehouse operations and leading one direct report at the Kentwood PDC to ensure timely, accurate support.
- Administering core tools and sites-including the Mock Up Online Store (Magento), Mock Up Village, and the Competitive Engine-and qualitychecking content and data.
- Collaborating with Product Marketing, Launch, Brand/Comms, IT, Quality, and Workspace Futures to create collateral and experiences that differentiate Steelcase in sidebyside evaluations.
- Presenting and facilitating sessions for sales teams, dealers, and product groups while equipping teams with tools that tell our story when no one is in the room.
- Reporting on activity, usage, and outcomes (e.g., monthly form volume, tool adoption, win/loss insights) and translating trends into clear recommendations.
- Improving processes using a continuous improvement/LEAN mindset and rolling up sleeves to execute tasks when urgency requires (ordering, shipping, invoicing, updating tools).
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working in the contract furniture industry
- Background in sales, sales support/inside sales, or marketing with understanding of urgency and customer expectations.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including presenting to dealers, Field Sales, and internal groups.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, handson environment, staying flexible as priorities shift and responding quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high accuracy and followthrough.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Comfort performing both strategic planning and handson execution of administrative/operational tasks (ordering, shipping, updating tools, processing invoices).
- Experience partnering crossfunctionally with marketing, product groups, sales, operations, IT, or similar teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Magento, Salesforce, Qualtrics, or similar platforms.
- Experience with continuous improvement or LEAN principles.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
- Experience leading or supporting direct reports, interns, or remote teammates.
