Job Description

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for assisting Lead Maintenance Technician, Lead Operator, and Plant Leadership with machine issues and special projects as needed to maintain the facility safety, quality, and productivity standards.



Pay rate: $30.00/hr


Shift: Night

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
* Respond immediately to issues as requested in regard to Safety, Quality, and Production.
* Complete schedule preventative maintenance on all equipment.
* Troubleshooting of electrical systems and control panels with component installations.
* General machine maintenance including rebuilding and replacing machine components.
* Improvement projects or action items on "off-line" equipment, components, and auxiliary pieces.
* Facility projects including but not limited to machine installation, relocation, and renovations.
* Complete maintenance log entries accurately.
* Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Work Environment
Manufacturing Plant. Climate Controlled.

Qualifications

Education: High Diploma. Secondary Education or Certification in Industrial Maintenance preferred.


Experience: Maintenance experience, 2+ years preferred in manufacturing environment, knowledge of pneumatic & electrical systems and components, electrical & mechanical troubleshooting.


Equipment & Machinery: Moving platforms, machining tools (mill, welder, & drill press), common hand tools and electrical meter.


Certifications: Ability to pass and maintain the following classes/certifications: CPR, First Aid, Arc Flash, Forklift.


Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills.
