Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
- Applying state-of-the-art principles of design and data collection to all collaborative studies in which we participate,
- Training students to apply these principles to practice, and
- Conducting research aimed at improving the design, data collection and analysis phases of types of studies we do.
Position Summary
This position manages all logistics related to the UNC Water and Health Conference, held each year in October. This conference coordinator position includes responsibilities in event management, finance/accounting, administration, support for travel and logistics for speakers and donors, management of volunteers, and communications.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
- One year of experience in managing events or convenings
- Extremely organized
- Possess superior collaboration, teamwork, and team leadership skills
- Great attention to detail
