Clinical Supervisor, Outpatient Behavioral Health Behavioral Health Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Full Time 88314BR Job Summary Involves patient care services for a range of mental health disorders, often severe including major depressive disorders, paranoia, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder. Settings may be inpatient, outpatient or clinical research studies. Patient care may be provided by a combination of licensed clinicians, as well as counselors and crisis intervention specialists. Patients typically require routine assistance, treatment or a specialized and controlled environment. Primary emphasis on treatment and attempt where possible to help patients control their own lives in the outside world, with the use of a combination of psychiatric drugs and psychotherapy. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $113,800 - $242,800 (Annual Rate). Clinical programs are located in the UCSF Nancy Friend Pritzker Psychiatry Building in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood. Situated adjacent to UCSF's Mission Bay campus, the building is one of the few in the nation that combines outpatient mental health care for people of all ages with top-ranking programs in psychiatry and psychology training and research. By integrating behavioral health clinical, training, and research facilities under one roof-along with services from neurology, neurosurgery, radiology, anesthesiology, obstetrics/gynecology, and other specialties at UCSF-our center allows patients to receive world-class clinical care and participate in cutting-edge clinical research at a single location.
