Job Overview The Product Analyst is a member of the Analytics Team which empowers macys.com with analytics insights to support planning, tactical execution, and optimizing the customer experience. They support Product Management, User Experience, & Technology teams with reporting and analysis, delivering crucial business intelligence. The analyst presents actionable insights to aid decision-makers and assists Macys.com's A/B and multivariate testing programs. This involves designing and analyzing experiments in collaboration with internal clients like Marketing and Merchandising, as well as technology partners. The role requires multitasking through various project stages and delivering quality insights and recommendations regularly to drive business growth. Other duties as assigned. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing digital, SEO, and marketing data and drawing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical information and succinct insights to various stakeholders across different levels of the organization. Project Management: Capability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adhere to timelines while ensuring quality deliverables. Collaboration: Aptitude for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering, to achieve common objectives. Problem-Solving: Capacity to think creatively, strategically, and technically to address challenges and identify opportunities for site enhancement and monetization. Ownership: Desire and ability to take ownership of products/projects, driving them from conception to execution while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SEO tools, digital analytics tools, and MS Office programs to effectively analyze data, generate reports, and develop dashboards for internal stakeholders, including proficiency with SQL queries. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging search engine trends and best practices in digital analytics and e-commerce to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
