Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Finance Division at Babson College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance position starting in Fall 2026. The position will be a one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. The role includes responsibilities in research, teaching, and service. The teaching load is five courses per academic year.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Priority consideration will be given to applicants received by March 19.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

* Teach in our undergraduate and graduate programs.

* The teaching load is five courses (sections) per year.

* Assume additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED:

* A Ph.D. in Finance or Economics is required (finance is preferred); ABD candidates with a firm completion date by Fall 2026 will also be considered.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Babson College delivers courses in many different teaching formats, including traditional semester schedules, half semester schedules, day and evening classes, in-person, and on-line instruction. We offer programs in fall, spring, and summer.

This is an exempt position with the following pay range: $214,822 - $226,757.
