Administrative Care Partner-5th Floor-Medicine/Oncology-West Valley-Days

As a valued member of our UCLA Health team, you will serve under the direct supervision of a nurse manager to support admissions, transfers, and discharges in a timely manner to assist with throughput. Interact and provide excellent customer relations with patients, staff, and employees. Relay patient needs in a timely manner to nurses to improve patient outcomes and experience. Direct all visitors and staff to necessary areas.

Salary Range: $26.57-$35.02

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated person with:

1. High School Diploma/GED certificate preferred
2. Knowledge of computer fundamentals
3. Ability to speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate English vocabulary and grammar
4. Ability to understand oral and written directives
5. Ability to read and write Standard English text
6. Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
7. Demonstrates an understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations
8. Ability to organize and prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner
