Utilization Review (UR) Nurse - RN (Hybrid | Washington, DC)

NRI Staffing is seeking an experienced Utilization Review (UR) Nurse to support our client in the DC Metropolitan area. We are looking for a motivated RN who enjoys working with multiple external partners and thrives in a hybrid work environment supporting long-term care facilities.

• Monday through Friday

• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• 3 days per week remote (work from home)

• 2 days per week onsite visiting senior living and nursing facilities in Washington, DC and Maryland to complete utilization and quality reviews

Candidates must reside in Washington, DC (DMV area) and have reliable transportation for facility visits.

• $50.15 per hour

• $5.55 per hour Health & Wellness benefit

• Total hourly compensation: $55.70 per hour

• Perform quality improvement and utilization management reviews to assess residents continued need for services and level of care

• Ensure documentation and care plans meet regulatory requirements including PASRR, MDS, Medicare, Medicaid, and other applicable standards

• Conduct onsite evaluation reviews for provider partners in Washington, DC and Maryland

• Review continued stay cases and confirm appropriate acuity levels

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to support compliant and effective care planning
