LOCATION: Remote - This is a home based, virtual position that operates Monday - Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm EST. Vaya Health welcomes applications from NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, MD, and FL. GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB This position is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the Project Management Office's (PMO) project delivery function by supervising project managers and ensuring consistent application of PMO standards, tools, and practices. The Project Delivery Manager reports to and works in close partnership with the VP of the PMO, providing operational support to ensure effective project execution. The role focuses on resource allocation, monitoring of delivery health, staff development, and reporting, while the VP retains overall responsibility for PMO strategy, portfolio governance, and senior leader and executive stakeholder engagement. The Project Delivery Manager also serves as a first point of escalation for project managers, provides mentoring and training, and may assume direct project management responsibilities when needed to ensure delivery continuity. In addition, the role provides guidance and support to Business Unit Project (BUP) managers, ensuring they have access to standards, templates, and tools, while strategic oversight and governance of these projects remains with the VP of PMO. This position facilitates or co-facilitates project-level governance forums (e.g., Integrated Change Control) and serves as backup to the VP of PMO for enterprise-level forums such as the Portfolio Management Team. Note: This position requires access to, and use of confidential healthcare information or protected health information (PHI) as described in laws addressing patient confidentiality, including, but not limited to, the federal HIPAA law, the Confidentiality of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Patient Records law, 42 CFR Part 2, and various state laws. As such, the individual filling this position shall be required to be trained regarding such laws and shall be required to observe those laws in his/her capacity as an employee of Vaya Health. The individual filling this position shall also sign a confidentiality statement as an employee of Vaya Health. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Project Management Support:
- Execute portfolio assignments and resourcing plans as defined by the VP of PMO
- Partner with PMS and stakeholders to scope projects at intake to ensure appropriate resourcing and alignment with PMO standards.
- Allocate and monitor project management resources across projects and initiatives; adjust assignments as needed to balance workload.
- Attend key project meetings to stay informed, provide deliver support, and reinforce PMO methodologies.
- Serve as first-in line escalation point for PMs, escalating critical issues to the VP of PMO as appropriate.
- Support adoption and adherence to project governance processes (e.g., intake review, change control, go-live readiness).
- Provide guidance to Business Unit Project (BUP) managers by clarifying PMO standards, pointing to job aids/templates and answering process or tool related questions, without altering deliverables or governance direction set by the VP of PMO.
- Monitor KPIs for delivery health and portfolio performance, prepare accurate reports for VP review.
- Provide temporary project coverage when capacity gaps or vacancies occur.
- Facilitate Integrated Chage Control (ICC) sessions to ensure timely review, decision-making, and communication of changes affecting active projects.
- Serve as backup facilitator for Portfolio Management Team (PMT) sessions and other enterprise governance forums when delegated by the VP of PMO.
- All other tasks as assigned by Vice President of the Project Management Office.
Supervision:
- Lead, mentor, and direct supervise a team of project managers.
- Provide coaching, training, and structured mentoring to develop PM staff capabilities.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals in alignment with organizational priorities.
- Manage staffing needs (hiring, onboarding, training, offboarding, etc.) in collaboration with the VP of PMO.
- Monitor PM productivity and provide timely feedback and support.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and improvement-oriented culture.
- Conduct periodic quality reviews of project deliverables to ensure adherence to PMO standards and PMLC (Project Management Life Cycle).
Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain and consolidate project/portfolio reporting and dashboards for VP of PMO review.
- Ensure project data integrity to support accurate tracking of timelines, risks, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Provide analysis and insights to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the VP in preparing materials for senior leadership, Board, and external stakeholder reporting.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related fields preferred.
- 5 years' experience in Project Management of which 1 year is experience in a supervisory position
Licensure/Certification Preferred:
- PMP, CSM, LSSBB or other project management certification preferred
MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Emotional intelligence to mentor staff, provide constructive feedback, and address performance challenges.
- Decision-making under pressure, particularly when covering as interim project manager, facilitating ICC sessions, or responding to time-sensitive delivery risks.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: The person in this position must live in NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, MD, or FL. SALARY: Depending on qualifications & experience of candidate.
