What to Expect

We are seeking a highly organized, flexible, and hardworking Equipment Maintenance Training Instructor who is technically savvy and passionate about training and personal development. This individual will be responsible for facilitating instructor-led trainings that support the growth and capability development of technician and engineering teams within the Fremont Factory. The ideal candidate demonstrates outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills, while maintaining a positive, motivational, and professional presence.

Candidates should bring extensive hands-on maintenance or engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with strong expertise across a broad range of technical disciplines including robotics, electrical systems, industrial sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, controls programming, and other related equipment technologies. This role requires someone who can translate complex technical concepts into practical, engaging learning experiences that drive performance and operational excellence.


What You'll Do
  • Facilitate instructor-led technical Equipment Maintenance training programs for technicians and/or engineers and assess learner's competency through practical application to ensure readiness
  • Actively engage with shop leaders to align training schedules and class offerings with operational priorities, proactively seek and incorporate feedback and demonstrate an action-oriented mindset to drive measurable training impact and performance improvement
  • Proactively pursues additional technical knowledge to deepen expertise, leveraging hands-on experience to identify new content needs and refresh existing material - including lab exercises and assessments to ensure training remains current, relevant, and impactful
  • Demonstrate advanced mechanical competency with in-depth knowledge od industrial tooling, machine components, and system architecture, applying troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure knowledge mastery and effective resolution of complex equipment issues
  • Demonstrate strong competency in low- and high-voltage electrical systems, with thorough safety awareness, advanced diagnostic skills, and proficient use of electrical testing and troubleshooting tools to effectively analyze, maintain, and resolve complex system issues
  • Continuously pursues learning opportunities and proactively takes on tasks that support others' success, fosters collaboration and innovation within training programs while cultivating a positive team culture

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years Maintenance or engineering application, Leadership experience preferred
  • Certificate fromVocational School in Equipment Maintenance,Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and/or processes
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware, tools, instruments, and methods applicable to manufacturing robotics processes
  • Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with team and peers within the Training, Maintenance, and Engineering organizations
  • Strong ability to work in cross-functional groups from diverse technical and experienced backgrounds

    Expected Compensation
    $32.00 - $48.27/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
