Description

Marking is seeking an experienced and strategic communications professional to support a dynamic customer portfolio through brand strategy development, outreach, and integrated communications initiatives. This senior-level role will lead branding efforts, drive engagement, and serve as a focal point for cross-organizational collaboration.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong communicator who thrives in complex environments, can translate insights into action, and confidently supports senior leadership initiatives



Responsibilities

    Lead the development and execution of comprehensive brand strategies aligned to mission objectives
  • Enhance organizational reputation and expand audience engagement across internal and external stakeholders
  • Serve as the lead/focal point for outreach initiatives across programs, initiatives, branches, and divisions
  • Coordinate and collaborate across multiple organizational elements to ensure message alignment and brand consistency
  • Analyze audience and consumer insights to develop targeted communication plans and promotional guidelines
  • Design and implement promotional campaigns for new projects, initiatives, and key events
  • Develop and execute social media strategies across commercial platforms
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging opportunities to proactively address challenges
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and outreach events
  • Maintain and enhance digital platforms, including websites, SharePoint sites, and blogs
  • Modernize and upgrade existing media and web content to ensure brand consistency
  • Develop executive-level briefings and correspondence
  • Provide strategic communication solutions and manage content updates in collaboration with cross-community teams on a regular (weekly or daily) basis


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years supporting the customer domain
  • Demonstrated expertise in brand development and strategic communications
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills, including drafting executive-level correspondence
  • Experience with HIVE, SharePoint, and/or Confluence
  • Knowledge of Tableau and Talkabout
  • Familiarity with commercial social media platforms and digital engagement strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of information from diverse sources and translate into actionable communication products
  • Knowledge of customer processes, procedures, network systems, and applications supporting intelligence production and dissemination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment


Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $205,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
