Microsoft is seeking a highly experiencedPrincipal Product Manager to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of advanced AI agents that transform how sales organizations operate. In this role, you will drive end-to-end product direction for autonomous and assistive AI solutions that improve prospecting, deal management, customer success, and account management. You will influence company-wide AI initiatives, partner across engineering and field organizations, and define the next wave of AI-powered innovation for sellers. Responsibilities
- Own and articulate thelongtermproduct vision and multiyear roadmapfor AI Sales Agents that empower sellers across prospecting, qualification, opportunity management, and customer success.
- Lead strategy and execution across engineering, design, data science, field sales, and marketing, ensuring clarity of goals and a shared definition of success.
- Define and prioritizehighimpactfeatures and capabilitiesbased on customer needs, seller workflows, and businessobjectivesatglobalscale.
- Establish rigorous AI evaluation frameworks, success metrics, and continuous improvement loops to ensurehighqualitymodel behavior and measurable business outcomes.
- Drive rapid prototyping and experimentationusingcodegenerationframeworks and modern AI development tools tovalidateconcepts and accelerate innovation.
- Synthesize insights across customer feedback, telemetry, research, and competitive trendsto inform product decisions and shapelongtermstrategy.
- Champion Responsible AI principles, ensuring privacy, safety, and compliance standards are embedded across the entire product lifecycle.
- Communicate strategy, progress, and insights to executive stakeholders, providing clear narratives anddatadrivenrecommendations.
- Influencecrossorgpartnersacross Microsoft to align on technology stack, strategy, platform architecture, and GTM execution.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience building prototypes using AI code generation or modern AI development frameworks.
- Experience with shipping complex, customer facing AI or enterprise products at scale.
Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
- 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 6+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years driving AI or machine learning products.

#BICJOBS Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
