The Semi Manufacturing Resources Group isseekinga highly motivatedSupervisory Control and Data AcquisitionEngineer(SCADA)to contribute to the design and development of new automation equipment andmanagement of existingassembly lines.TheSCADAEngineer will work to develop& deployfactory and equipment managementconcepts along with several manufacturing andproductionengineering peers. Candidates will create and advance robust system architectures to support Semi Factory goals. Once deployed, they will supportinformation systems frominitialimplementationthroughdebug,andfine-tuning andperformancevalidation. TheSCADAEngineer will also work with cross-functional teams throughout the entire life cycle of the product and processesdeployed andmodifiedthroughout the factory. They will work closely withquality,productionand maintenance to bringdata systemsfrominitialdesign, through prototypedevelopmentand finally into full productionimplementation.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy SCADA systems, including graphics, alarms, trends, reports, and data historians
- Configure andprogramPLCs, RTUs, and HMIs using tools such as Ignition, Wonderware, Siemens WinCC, or similar platforms
- Integrate SCADA with other systems (e.g., DCS, MES, historians) and support communication protocols including Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA/DA, and Ethernet/IP
- Perform system commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to minimize downtime
- Implement cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS/OT)
- Develop andmaintaintechnical documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to operations and maintenance teams
- Collaborate with project managers, electrical/instrumentation teams, and vendors on new installations, upgrades, and expansions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and"client"requirements
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, orequivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in Controls/Software Engineering
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or maintaining SCADA/PLC systems
- Proficiency with at least one major SCADA platform (e.g., Ignition by Inductive Automation, AVEVA Wonderware, Siemens, or Rockwell)
- Proficiency in script-based programming (Python, Go, and SQL)
- Proficiency with at least one major SCADA platform (e.g., Ignition by Inductive Automation, AVEVA Wonderware, Siemens, or Rockwell)
- Strong experience with PLC programming (ladder logic, function blocks, structured text) and HMI development
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networking fundamentals
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles for OT environments
- Excelleng problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
