Description & Requirements The Zhang Lab explores and studies biological diversity to understand nature and discover systems and processes that may be harnessed through bioengineering for the improvement of human well-being. We are looking to recruit a sharp, experienced, creative, and independent scientist to lead a project focused on therapeutic cellular engineering. The candidate will pursue his/her own project within the group, collaborating with existing lab members or new hires as needed to advance the project. The Zhang lab is a member of the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard and McGovern Institute at MIT, and a part of the greater Boston life-science community including MIT and Harvard. Our lab is a fun, fast-paced, results-driven, and collaborative environment with access to state-of-the-art research facilities, with support from NIH, HHMI, and various foundations and philanthropies. The expected base pay range for this position as listed above is based on a 40 hour per week schedule. Broad provides pay ranges representing its reasonable and good faith estimate of what the organization reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, qualifications, and other factors permissible by law.
