The Analyst, Procurement Planning & Delivery Mgt supports the integration of Procurement analytics and market intelligence to enable data-driven decision making, value optimization, and market competitiveness. This role focuses on developing commercial insights, cost models, and market intelligence that support Nutrien's Procurement, category management, and sourcing teams.

The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical foundation, working knowledge of procurement and supply chain concepts, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to support strategic sourcing initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and identification of procurement value opportunities.


What You'll Do:

  • Support the development and enhancement of Procurement and supply chain analytics that deliver actionable insights to the Procurement function.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance Procurement analytical models and dashboards to support spend analysis, value delivery tracking, supplier performance management, inventory optimization, and contract compliance.
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize internal Procurement data alongside external market intelligence to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting sourcing strategies.
  • Assist in maintaining market intelligence inputs related to commodity trends, supplier landscapes, and broader supply chain dynamics.
  • Collaborate with category managers, sourcing, contracting, and business partners to support value creation initiatives through data insights.
  • Analyze large datasets from multiple ERPs and supplier systems to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Support development of analytical use cases, including scenario analysis and forecasting, to inform sourcing strategies and supplier management decisions.
  • Model our core value of safety by actively contributing to a safe work environment.
  • Stay current on emerging procurement technologies, analytics tools, and market intelligence solutions.
  • Prepare and present insights, dashboards, and recommendations in a clear and concise format for Procurement stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience working with procurement or supply chain data and generating insights to support business decisions.
  • Familiarity with external market intelligence sources (e.g., Beroe, Gartner, Bloomberg, ProcurementIQ, or industry-specific databases).
  • Experience working with procurement data in one or more ERP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S4, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
  • Foundational understanding of procurement concepts such as sourcing strategies, supplier segmentation, total cost of ownership, and spend analysis.
  • Professional certifications in Procurement (e.g., SCMP) or Data Analytics is preferred.
  • Exposure to AI, advanced analytics, or automation in a procurement or supply chain context is preferred.
  • Experience supporting Category Management or Procure-to-Pay processes is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $79,100 - $135,500. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
