About the Role:
The Assistant Account Executive will work in partnership with the Account team and internal functional areas to shepherd creative content through the development and executional processes. Additionally, this person will be responsible for working with external partners and have some client contact in the development and execution of creative for email, OLA, and direct mail. Our ideal candidate will be confident, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under aggressive deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
* Working with the senior team, supports the development, execution and management of projects which may include email, OLA, direct mail and other communication channels.
o Assists with creative kick-off and creative turnover meetings
o Owns/leads end-to-end Creative production after project kick-off with senior team support
o Reviews and manages creative comments to ensure creative changes are made and questions on routers are answered
o Assists in the preparation of client meetings and reviews, documenting client decisions
o Ensures internal and client approvals and sign-offs are obtained on all deliverables
o Supports the team by reviewing and approving email and direct mail test scenarios
* Has daily interaction with multiple departments
o Partners with internal teams (Account, Analytics, Creative and Production) to ensure all project steps are met and remain on track as defined
* Works closely with and mentors the Account Coordinator
o In the administration of job numbers
o In the development of estimates and management of costs against project budgets
o Acts as back up to the Account Coordinator for internal routing
* Helps maintain detailed planning and tracking documents
o Assists in the updating of the daily Status Report and prioritization of deliverables
* Assists with special projects as needed
* Supports the team in the completion and accuracy of vendor instructional documents ( direct mail and email )
Education/Experience:
* University degree or equivalent work experience
* 1-year relevant work experience in related role
* CRM or Digital experience; automotive experience is a plus
* Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Strong problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability
* Works well under pressure
* Be a self-starter who will take initiative and look for ways to improve any and all aspects of the position and our approach to our client's business
* Take pride in his/her work and apply a high level of attention to detail and accuracy at all times
