How you will make history here... Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, provide the primary role of the verification and sign-in for guests and vendors, issuing and maintaining visitor passes, and controlling access to the plant. Will have responsibilities related to employee attendance records, and employee engagement related activities. Will perform data entry and recordkeeping for training and where needed. Assist with planning and coordination of employee activities. Perform other various clerical and administrative tasks to support all activities and functions of the People & Culture Department. What you will do... 1. Monitor entrance, greet visitors, job applicants, and vendors. Follow visitor orientation procedures. 2. Issue security badges for employees, new hires, contractors, vendors and visitors. Enter badge codes into applicable computer programs. 3. Answer incoming business calls and direct calls to appropriate department or individual. Assist department in phone communication needed such as scheduling candidates/new hires, 4. Support in monitoring hourly employee attendance and help prepare counselings per attendance policy requirements. Review employee time screens for attendance accuracy. 5. Enter employee training records into database and maintain on timely basis. Prepare new employee bid or transfer training sheets and distribute to supervisor as needed. Update employee staffing board. 6. Maintain internal phone number lists with changes, and update files as needed, distribute copies to plant staff. 7. Assist with recruiting; application completion and scheduling appointments or evaluations as needed. Prepare new employee files and complete paperwork processing. Issue employee shirts as needed and maintain employee locker listing. 8. Prepare monthly anniversary lists, cards and birthday coupons, distribute cards to people leaders and arrange for anniversary and birthday recognition. 9. Assist with planning and coordinating holiday events, employee activities and celebrations. 10. Prepare plant communications for TVs and bulletin boards. Update mailbox listing and phone directory. 11. Coordinate plant community service activities working with corporate contacts as needed, i.e. The Park Bench, Angel Tree, Cache Community Food Pantry, Days of Service, Days of Giving. Assist with product donations and record keeping. 12. Perform additional varied clerical duties and administrative tasks for People & Culture Department as assigned including filing, updating employee records and folders and various HR projects such as UKG, WorkDay, Alchemy, etc. What you bring to the table... * High school diploma or GED and/or 1-year experience in administrative role. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and keen alertness to behavioral needs. * Ability to perform multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities. * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent organizational skills and commitment to accuracy. * Computer skills--especially Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and database programs (keyboarding skills). * Excellent attendance record. * Will be expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $38,400-$55,200Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
