Description

The SkillBridge Intern-Project Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administrative duties for program or group of programs while communicating with internal staff and/or customers regarding milestones, budgets, work-scope and schedules.Responsible for the administrative leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Project Manager and customer.

    Serving as a primary contact for day-to-day coordination and administrative duties
  • Serving as primary support of project by facilitating logistics of materials, meetings, presentations, etc.
  • Planning and coordinating all materials needed on project
  • Planning and coordinating project scheduling, budgeting and administrative tasks
  • Monitoring project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are being maintained and on schedule
  • Analyzing data and making recommendations for review by senior management and customer review
  • Creating reports and reporting tools that will provide senior managers and customers a broad prospective of status, updates, needed changes, and up to date status of the project
  • Assisting in development of presentations for senior management and customer review
  • Making presentations and/or be a partner in customer discussions/negotiations
  • Conducting performance/project analyses to benefit future missions and programs
  • Developing new customer contacts and conceptualizing solutions to customer problems that lead to new business for the corporation

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or combination of education and three years of direct project management/administrative experience is required
  • This position requires exceptional MS Word, Project and Excel skills, project administration experience, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
    In relation to other jobs in the same function, this job requires an advanced level of proficiency to apply broad knowledge and experience; this job may provide direction/leadership to others as a lead or technical specialist
  • This is a DoD SkillBridge internship position which requires candidate to receive command approval to participate in a DoD SkillBridge position; Only eligible to Active-Duty Service members
