About Tolmar Engineering

Tolmar Engineering ensures that pharmaceutical manufacturing facility processes are carried out in the safest, most time-efficient, and cost-effective way possible. Our equipment engineers achieve this by designing, planning, coordinating, reviewing, and modifying systems, and equipment, and writing, documenting, and implementing new procedures, requirements, and qualification documents to support activities. The Equipment Engineering team is responsible for design and procurement of all new manufacturing equipment and support of existing equipment operations and maintenance at all Tolmar facilities in Northern Colorado.

Proposed Work Description

Described below is a sampling of the kinds of work we expect this position to entail:



  • Assist Tolmar Engineer Coordinators with creating, managing, revising, approving and tracking of artwork, labels and components
  • Assist Engineer Coordinators with developing/updating reviews, processes, work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Assist Tolmar Engineer Coordinators with change actions and CAPA actions
  • Assist with Pharmaceutical labeling design, coordination, and documentation
  • Assist Engineer Coordinator team with documentation required for material management and manufacturing (i.e. BOMs and Batch Records)
  • Performs administrative tasks associated with maintaining, tracking, and generating reports associated with internal investigations, and training documentation for the department


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



  • An interest in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical engineering design, coordination and documentation;
  • Ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice or acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to interact collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Technical writing and documentation review skills.
  • Ability to work independently when needed.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, demonstrating strong organization and time management skills; to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills with demonstrated experience in working with Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook).
  • Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) is a plus.

Education & Experience



  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering discipline or related field.
  • Interest in regulated industry including pharmaceutical, health care, medical device, production or manufacturing.
  • Technical job history a plus.



Working Conditions



  • Work is performed primarily in office, laboratory.
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts and at heights as needed.



Compensation and Benefits



  • Base rate is $19.00 per hour
