Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Wage: $22-$29/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3pm-1am (10-hour) Monday-Thursday, Overtime on Fridays

Will be trained on a 10am-8pm swing shift, Monday-Thursday

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Delavan, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues and fabricate parts as needed

- Complete preventive maintenance on plant equipment, tools, and machinery

- Order parts and supplies as necessary to support maintenance activities

- Work independently to maintain facility and production equipment

- Assist with the installation and implementation of new equipment

- Support training of machine attendants to ensure smooth and efficient equipment operation

- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

- Associate degree preferred in Electronic Technology, Automated Manufacturing, or Electro-Mechanical Systems

- Surface mount equipment experience is a plus

- 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment or equivalent military-related experience

- Formal training or demonstrated proficiency in: basic electricity, electricity for machine repair, basic hydraulics, industrial mechanic fundamentals, industrial machine repair (basic), PLCs

- Forklift certification

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints

- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed

- Flexibility to train on other shifts and provide coverage for maintenance technicians at other facilities

- Valid driver's license
