Job Summary:

The Admissions Manager for the Kellogg Evening & Weekend MBA program will contribute to all aspects of the admissions process, helping attract the best and brightest to come to Kellogg. This position provides high-level admissions administrative and operations support and is a key member of the Admissions Team. This is a critical role that serves as the front line for a very busy Admissions office. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, customer service, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Admissions Manager will be highly engaged with prospective and current students through management of multiple inboxes, phone inquiries, in person interactions, and Slate CRM management.

Specific Responsibilities:

Operational & Systems Management

  • Execute and manage tasks in Slate CRM, including: Running reports, tracking application progress, and maintaining accurate candidate data; Assigning candidates to admissions officers and allocating files for review; Managing interview and chat scheduling through Slate Scheduler.
  • Processing application decisions and ensuring timely communication.
  • Monitor systems for data integrity and troubleshoot issues in partnership with the Associate Director of Operations and Admissions Technology team.
  • Maintain updated documentation of all operational processes and contribute to process innovation and automation.

Application & Eligibility Processing

  • Oversee receipt and verification of transcripts, test scores, and other application materials.
  • Communicate missing requirements to candidates and ensure timely completion.
  • Review Accelerated Option eligibility forms and manage related inquiries in collaboration with Academic Advising.

Candidate Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a Kellogg ambassador and first point of contact for prospective and current students, faculty, alumni, and staff.
  • Provide high-touch support to candidates throughout the admissions process, answering inquiries and guiding them through application requirements and triaging to Admissions Officers to positively impact application volume and yield.
  • Represent the department in interactions with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty requests and cross-functional collaborations.

Team & Event Support

  • Support and attend Evening & Weekend MBA recruitment events.
  • Serve as primary substitute for front desk personnel as needed.
  • Participate in admissions team meetings and share updates on policies, procedures, and operational improvements.

Communications & Reporting

  • Prepare and schedule email campaigns for application deadlines, yield initiatives, and candidate engagement.
  • Run standard reports, create spreadsheets, and manage data for internal tracking and decision-making.

Continuous Improvement and Projects

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Registration, Academic Advising, Student Life) to ensure smooth onboarding and matriculation of incoming students.

Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, experience, and any other certifications or clearances)

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of administrative or operational support or other relevant work experience required.

Target hiring range for this position will be $55,000 - $60,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
